Mad Fox Halloween Weekend

Mad Fox has a number of things going on this weekend:

Friday 3PM – Draught tapping of Autumnus IPA, this is a 17 Plato strong IPA heavily dry-hopped with Centenniel. This is the second IPA in Bill’s Trilogy series, with Snap IPA on draught as well and a third coming out next weekend. Each IPA is brewed with a different dimension of hoppiness – bitter (Snap), strong and oily (Autumnus) or citrusy hops (Orange Whip with Citra hops).

Sunday 12:30PM – Halloween Hog Roast – whole hog barbecued over night in the outdoor pig pit. Serving pork sandwiches starting at 12:30PM.

Sunday 2PM – Drain the firkin cask pints of Autumnus, while the firkin lasts. Our last drain the firkin event lasted 37 minutes.

  1. These new IPAs sound great! Too bad I didn’t know about the Autumnus IPA when I had dinner last evening at Mad Fox. What’s the status of promoting brews that are not on the drink menu, such as in the entry way, or where the hosts stand, or in each area of the restaurant? A simple chalk board, dressed up by one of your creative staff, would even work.

    • Dennis, sorry about the lack of info on the new IPA. It’s a training issue and we’re working on that. With 11 beers on tap that are turning over frequently we’re not able to keep up with printing new menus every day. I like your idea of chalkboards. We were going to put one on the big column near the stage, but putting a chalboard behind the host stand is a good idea too. Thanks and Cheers!

  2. Can you explain the event that took place on Sunday at 2p?! It sounds like a can’t miss for next time and I don’t even understand what it is! Thanks!
